What is Mia® FEMTECH?
Mia® (Minimally Invasive Augmentation) FEMTECH is a modern breast augmentation method that uses a specially designed implant and innovative tools, which allow insertion of an implant through a small, 2-3 mm incision in the armpit without the need of general anaesthesia.
This operation is therefore quick, gentle and with a minimal risk of complications. It results in a natural look of the breasts with no visible scars.

How does the operation work?
The Mia® FEMTECH breast augmentation proceeds under local anaesthesia as a one-day surgery. The plastic surgeon makes a small incision in the armpit area and then uses a patented tool to insert a special implant designed for this technology.
The whole operation takes about 90 minutes and the patient can go home on the same day.
Care following the Mia® FEMTECH the breast augmentation
You can go back to normal activities immediately after the operation, on the same day. After two weeks, you can gradually return to greater physical activity and then start with full exercise and sport after 3-4 weeks.
After Mia® breast augmentation, you will have to wear a compression bra all day for four weeks. It is a piece of underwear developed specially for this method. The bra has much lower compression compared with elastic underwear worn after classical augmentation and is made of a pleasant supple material. It is very comfortable and discreet under the clothes and does not limit the woman in her move. The client receives the bra immediately after the operation, still in the operating theatre.
Result and effect
The result is visible immediately, but the final effect becomes stabilized within several weeks.

- The Mia® implants also incorporate Zen® technology – an intelligent RFID system that safely stores information about your implant. If necessary, your certified Mia® surgeon can retrieve the information solely at your personal request.
